Why Become a Hay Helper?

Hay is a staple of any livestock farm.  Weather over the past few years has heavily impacted the price farmers have to pay for this essential food staple, with costs doubling in many cases from $6/bale to $12 and more.  Adding to that burden is the difficulty in even finding good hay.  Ironically, both drought and over-saturation from heavy rains influence hay's availability from year to year.  We work with other local farmers to seek out and collectively buy the best hay we can find in the greater New England region.  You can help keep our farm going through the early spring, winter and lambing months, about 7-8 months total in New Hampshire, by making a donation at any level to our hay fund.  Your donation is greatly appreciated and will go entirely towards the cost of feeding our animals.  Thank you.
